  Write the script for a scene from a photograph. Include a major character and one or two others. Imagine, for the main, viewpoint character in the scene: what she or he wants or doesn’t want — desperately, what she’s most afraid of, and what will make her most memorable to the reader. Instructions — exercise

Write a clear set of instructions that tells your audience how to perform a specific task. In your introduction, briefly state what the reader will learn from your instructions. What is the purpose?
