What’s the best holiday present you’ve ever given? My best gifts, IMHO, have been memories.
I gave a friend a box of my favorite memories of her. I’ve given this gift to all my siblings as well. Some memories involved a photo, some were just text.
I have three siblings, and each one has gotten a memory box for their thirty-ninth birthday. (Well, maybe it wasn’t 39, but who is counting.)
This is such a fun project, and even more fun if you get many people involved. Several months before the birthday I mail letters to anyone I think would contribute birthdays, explaining the project. Almost everyone sends somthing!
This is a fantastic project for a large group, because all you are asking for is a postcard worth of writing. A paragraph or less. That’s all that can fit into the box.
